A Story About the Photographer
My Story
Hello all and thank you for wanting to learn a bit about me! My name is Jack and I fell in love with photography around the age of 9. It all started when I used to borrow my parents bridge camera (fixed lens). I used this magical piece of gear to capture my first ever moments and since then I’ve fallen in love.
I used to be obsessed with Lego and animations so naturally, I thought why not try to combine the two. Before you knew it, I was creating very simple stop motion animations (nothing worthy of showcasing on the red carpet unfortunately). This love went from creating animations to my second love, the love of the great outdoors. Then I got thinking, why not photograph the area around me. I soon found out my parents weren’t too happy with me wondering off with their camera. One year, for Christmas, soon after my new found hobby was discovered, they got me my very own Canon Powershot camera. This was the most beautiful piece of gear my young teenage self had ever seen, so naturally after school I used to take it out with me on walks and photograph everything. From the view of the garden, to the birds, to the moon, I even attempted some macro with it (close up photography). This for me was revolutionary!

Where am I Now?
Fast forward a decade, half a dozen cameras later, I am now currently traveling the Highlands of Scotland, mostly photographing it’s many beautiful landscapes, weddings, as well as meeting many amazing people along the way.
I have just recently returned from Canada, where I visited many beautiful sites with my partner who lives out there. I will be sharing more on that adventure in time to come!
